Ignorance is bliss?

If I come across something new I just can't stand the fact that I had no idea about it earlier and I put it as a to be done tasks for myself to atleast find out about it later. This becomes a little discomforting as there is just too much to learn or know about :P. And I am talking just about the stuff at work, not even non-technical for the time being...

What is the best thing to do in such a situation? I have no clue. I try to grasp as much as I can from my colleagues and web but its just too much to know out there. Many would say, just look at what concerns you and just ignore the other stuff. But, I am sorry to say that's not possible, its not that easy :). I wanna know...

So, I'll keep learning till my brain lets go :P.
